The Different Methods of hGH
(Human Growth Hormone) Supplementation
|
|
The methods of
supplementing or stimulating increased hGH levels vary greatly, but
fall into four broad categories. Remember that hGH is a
physically large peptide (191 aminos) which is extremely fragile and yet, vital to
every system and function within the body at some level. For
more on the science of hGH, please investigate
The Science. Covered on this page
are hGH secretion stimulators,
oral supplementation,
injected hGH and homoeopathics.
The organisation of
information on this page: each column pair of articles will mirror
each other; the left more in technical terms and the right more in lay terms.
Very
Important: Actually, this is critical -
hGH is not
a chemical to be treated frivolously, or to be supplemented beyond natural
and balanced levels. hGH is one of the primary hormones in our
body. Forcing a body into a position of excess is likely to be
far more dangerous that a converse position of deficiency and is
very likely to cause a multitude of health problems, none easily
reversed.
The best possible goal in your hGH therapy is to aim to return your hGH levels to those
of your mid to late 20's. This concept is the
entire aim of this website - A natural, healthy balance by
supporting and encouraging the body via nutrition.

Secretion Stimulators
|
|
Secretagogues
(like GenF20 Plus™) use nutrient
formulas specific to the needs and actions of the Pituitary gland.
The most gentle and longest lasting form of hGH stimulation;
secretagogues encourage and support the body's natural wisdom
regarding its hormone levels, gently yet powerfully influencing a
more youthful level of hormonal balance within the body.
Research suggests strongly that the tissues of the
anterior pituitary do not lose their ability to produce hGH.
Rather, increasing levels of inhibitory Somatostatin suppress the
body's hGH production, a major avenue of research in ageing medicine
at present.
Secretagogues
allow the body and its components discretion in action,
rather than forcing action. The pituitary can
encourage the other hormone producing glands of the body
to lift their game too, this is its job. By
encouraging this total balance, GenF20 Plus™ helps the body
towards long term health and vitality rather than short
term gains which will prove very expensive in the long
run.
|
GenF20 Plus™ is a nutrient formula designed with an exact ratio of
different amino acids and nutrients to act specifically upon the
pituitary gland, stimulating it to secrete hGH. Substances that
cause secretion are called secretagogues.
GenF20 Plus™ is even better because it supports and nurtures the
pituitary gland, keeping it healthy and actively producing the
body's Fountain of Youth.

Oral hGH supplementation
|
|
Oral hGH supplementations. These do not work yet are
advertised as "real hGH". Somatotropin (hGH) is a very fragile
substance that rarely survives the enzymes in the saliva; is totally
destroyed in the acidic and enzyme environment of the stomach, and
only lasts, on average, about nine to thirty minutes in the blood stream.
Supplements claiming "real hGH" may have minute (micrograms) traces
of hGH, but it is very unlikely that these traces will ever make it
to the blood stream, thank goodness! (see next article) |
Some
hGH supplements claim to have real hGH. Not only is real hGH
incredibly expensive, it is also very unstable. These
supplements have minute traces at best of what was probably hGH when
it was packed.
The
hGH molecule is simply too large to go through the mucus membranes
or stomach lining effectively, nor can it survive the enzymes in
saliva, much less the enzymes and acid of the stomach. |

Injected (sub-q) hGH
|
|
Injected hGH supplementations. hGH
can be prescribed for injection on a daily basis. One month's
supply of hGH for injection typically costs in excess of $1000 -
yes, one thousand dollars - and requires daily, skin penetrating
injections. Black market hGH is rarely to never really hGH and
is dangerous. If you want to go the injected route, use high
quality pharmaceutically prepared substances under your doctor's
supervision.
My issue with this
method, aside from the prohibitive costs, is the
artificial raising of one hormone within the entire
gamut of hormones running our body. Everyone is
aware that balance in hormones is vital for a healthy
body. Directly supplementing one hormone means
that many others will also require supplementation or
the body will be in a state of imbalance. Once the
other hormones are prescribed, costs start going up,
RAPIDLY!
This method does not, of course,
address the fact that the pituitary gland of a healthy
person over 25, 50 or even 75, can still produce the
same levels of hormones as it could at 25! The
pituitary gland is likely to be stressed by artificial
hormonal supplementation when a nutritional formula like
GenF20 Plus™ can encourage and support it to do the whole job
on its own!
|
hGH is expensive, normally well over $1000 per month.
Instead of supporting the pituitary's action, it supplements hGH
artificially. The body can not tolerate too great a difference
in relative hormone levels.
A minor fluctuation in hormones causes PMS/PMT; imagine what
playing with the primary hormone of the body might do?!?!
Injected hGH is effective in raising hGH levels whilst injected
below the skin daily. As soon as the injections stop, so does
the hGH.
Injected supplementation can not support and build the pituitary
to continue its elevated functions like GenF20 Plus™.

Homoeopathic hGH |
|
Homoeopathic supplementation.
Homoeopathic medicine has been an effective and popular
modality for centuries. An energetic (rather than
physical) medicine, homoeopathic remedies take a minute
amount of a substance and administer its energetic
signature to a body, hopefully stimulating a response as
if a far greater amount of that substance were used.
On the surface, this might
seem to be an ideal hGH solution, but is it really? It does
not support the pituitary gland's health or function, nor does it
give the pituitary (if you believe the hype of these products) a
choice in producing hGH. It is quite logical that pituitary
exhaustion and depletion would be a likely outcome of this scenario.
|
Homoeopathics rely on
giving a body the energetic signature of a substance by
administering very low concentration solutions of that substance.
Even if this did work to fool hGH receptor
sites within the body or stimulate greater hGH production, it does
not support the pituitary's function and wellbeing like GenF20
Plus™.
It is also logical that a potential
imbalance could be triggered in the same way as injected hGH
(described above). |
Now you know about how
hGH is typically delivered, the next best step is to

of hGH.
